I am not so good at the self-promotion thing, but I’m part of a panel on women in media taking place amidst the many Commission on the Status of Women activities at the UN this week. The panel, convened by USD’s Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice Studies, features local and international female reporters discussing the challenges of covering women.
I’ll be talking about, among other things, an innovative reporting collaboration between African and American journalists for the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting.
We’re at the Church Building, 777 First Avenue, 10th floor, from 4:30-6:00 pm today. Hope to see you.
