I’ve been in the Central African Republic for the last two weeks, on the first leg of a long reporting journey about peacebuilding. More to come. In the meantime, here are some kids in a school in literally the middle of nowhere, sitting on skinny tree trunks and studying French under a thatched roof. This is a random crowd shot of a very excited “classroom” that wants to show off in front of the munju.
This looks like the work of the 50 mm — nice! Glad to see you using it! Over expose a stop next time you’re back lit like this for true magic. Can’t wait to hear more about the trip!!!!!
(ps – emails to you tomorrow am.)
(pps – using your blog comments as yet another means of communicating directly with you.)
(ppps – that’s right.)
