Here’s a quick note from Butare, where in one Internet Explorer window, this French keyboard does, in fact, write in French…and in a new one I just opened, this French keyboard lets me type in English. At first I found this wretchedly confusing, but then I realized it’s probably the most useful computer-thing to happen in a bilingual country. What I can’t figure out is how does it know when I want to speak French or English? Oh, things still to learn…
