There’s a lux coffee shop in town called Bourbon Coffee. It has wireless internet and good music and pricey food and beverages. It is classier than Starbucks but somehow leaves me feeling as sad. But it’s a good idea, of course: in a country now so famous for its coffee, not to have a coffee shop? Quelle dommage.
The Great Dane, who has a talent for funny business interactions in town, went to Bourbon for some breakfast today and came back with the following report:
“So I sat down and ordered breakfast and a cup of coffee. And you know what they told me? ‘We don’t have coffee today.'”
Woah! Amusing, yet sad at the same time.
